EzReminder is a useful software for your life. It allow you to create reminders which will inform you of events and other important things. This software provides you with a comfortable workplace whether in the office or at home. It also helps you to be more organized and efficient at work.

Getting Started

To display this menu, click right button on the program icon.

Reminder List - the main window that manage your reminders

New Reminder - create a new reminder

Instant Note - create a sticky note on the screen

Shutdown Tool - specify the shutdown time automatically you want

Help - view help contents

Options - allows you to change a range of general EzReminder options.

Registration Code - register your license code

Exit - select "Exit" if you want to terminate EzReminder

The program icon

will appear in system tray at the bottom right of your screen.

Create a new reminder

To create a new reminder, click right button on the tray icon and select "New Reminder..." or click "New" button in the main window that manage reminders

Reminder Edit box - write it down what you have to do, your event, things to to.... here.
Font and Color Button - change the font and background color you want.
Categories - select the category of the reminder you wish to display on the list.
Reminder Date -Time - select the date and time that this reminder should start. For recurring reminders this is the starting point of your reminder.

Recurrence drop down box - select the recurrence or select "Only once" if there will be no recurrence of this reminder.
Automatically hide the pop-up reminder - check this option to automatically hide the reminder pop-up window and specify the number of minutes that the reminder window will stay on the screen.

File or Link - open files, programs and web sites with the reminder message.

Documents such as Word or Excel. Example) c:\My Document\weekly-report.doc
Audio files such as mp3 or wma. Example) c:\My Music\sing a song.mp3
Web sites. Example) http://www.yahoo.com
E-mail addresses (please use the "mailto:" prefix). Example) mailto:bob@bnasolutions.com
Picture files such as jpg or gif. Example) c:\My Picture\beach.gif
Any executable program that you want to be launched (e.g. media player, disk checker or backup utility)
You can test the link, click the test button().

The EzReminder will inform you of the reminder with pop up window and link at the time you specify.

Edit a pop-up reminder

When the specified time comes, the reminder window will pop up with your message and link.

The following icons allow you to:

: Close this reminder window.
: Change the background color.
: Change the message font.
: Dismiss this message.
: Save modified message.
: Keep this pop-up window always on the top.

Move and Resize a pop-up reminder

Drag the pop-up window by its title bar (the blue area at the top of the window where the recurrence or date appears)
Move the cursor over the edge of the pop-up window until it shows as a double-headed arrow, then drag the edge.

Create an instant note

To create a sticky note, click right button on the tray icon and select "Instant Note...". The sticky note will appear on your screen.

The following icons allow you to:

Change the note color.
Change the font.
Close this note.
Keep this sticky note always on the top.

You can resize or move the sticky note as you need.
Instant notes are not saved into the reminder list.

Manage Your Reminders

All your reminders is managed by a main window below. To display it, double click on the tray icon or select "Reminder List..." from the tray icon menu.

A Wise Saying :EzReminder shows a wise saying every day. It have about 1500 wise sayings. Click on the or to view other wise sayings.

Menu Buttons:

New - Adds a new reminder
Edit - Edits a reminder
Delete - Deletes a reminder or several reminders(multi selection)
Run Now - To view as a po-up window immediately
Print - Prints out all reminders
Close - Closes this main window. You can bring the main window by double click on the tray icon anytime.

The red color item is the expired reminder. you can modify or delete it.

EzReminder Web site - you can get a new version and more useful information if you click.

Using shutdown tool

Shutdown Tool helps you shutdown, power off, reboot or log off your computer automatically at scheduled time you specify.

To use shutdown tool, click right button on the tray icon and select "Shutdown Tool".
Shutdown Tool will appear on the screen.

To set up your shutdown time

1. Select an action you wish.
2. Set a time you want it to perform.
3. Check to perform daily at the time.
4. Click on the Apply button to start shutdown timer.

To disable the shutdown timer

1. Uncheck the check box.
2. Click on the Apply button.

The countdown window will appear at the time you specified.
If you don't want to shutdown, You can cancel it.

Setting options

	Select a reminder sound - select the sound file or beep when a reminder pops up. Click on the "..." button to select a different "WAV" file. Opacity of pop-up reminder window - You can adjust the opacity of the pop-up reminder window. *Windows 98/ME is not supported.

	Edit Categories - You can change the text of the category. To Change the name of the category, double click on the item you want to edit and type your category.

	Time notifications- check to play the sound every hour or at noon only. Launch EzReminder at Windows startup - check to start EzReminder when Windows startup. This option is recommended. Minimize the main window when it is launched - check to minimize the main window when EzReminder is launched.

How to Install/Unnstall

Installing EzReminder

Please visit EzReminder home page, and download the EzReminder, run the file named "ezSetup.exe"
and then follow instruction. Once EzReminder is installed, starts automatically.
EzReminder runs automatically When your computer starts up. you can also start it from program menu, or
system tray icon.

Uninstalling EzReminder

To remove EzReminder from your computer, first, exit the program.
Select Uninstall EzReminder from the EzReminder folder in the Start | Programs menu.
You can also uninstall EzReminder from the Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

EzReminder provides a trial period. You must buy a license if you want to use the program beyond 15 days of trial period. You will have your registration code by an email after your payment is processed. Email will be arrived within 48 hours after payment. Your license is valid for all future release of EzReminder.

Upgrade EzReminder

Once you became a registered user of EzReminder, you may upgrade the program at no charge to any newer release of EzReminder. If you lost your license key, just send an email address which you used when you purchased from us. You will receive a new code via an email at no charge as soon as we have validated your details data.
